wheeeeeeeeeee.
THE LAST POST. :)yay! finally back from taiwan.
touched down early in the morning at 12 plus.
came home bathed and slept.
so yeapp.
it's 31st Dec!!
rahhh. no countdown outing this year.
i'm tired.
but gonna watch it on tv.
so the trip was 8 days.
1st 2 days were spent in taichung.
plane flight was delayed.
when we reached taiwan it was 22nd dec 5 plus taiwan time.
no diff in time.
still had to take a 2 hours plus ride to taichung.
but there was a jam so by the time we reached the hotel
it was abt 9 plus.
so wewalked around and ate dinner/supper.
ohhgosh. the traffic is seriously scary.
in spore it's mostly the cars which gives way to pedestrians.
but in taiwan... walk at your own risk.
plus the motorcycles esp will in like mere cm away from you!!
next day we went to a museum.
Naturalist center. then there was an exhibition.
bought some stuff there.
went shopping in the aftnn. at SOGO.
and at 5pm there was this NEWBIE singer.
EVAN YO. having his stage outside SOGO and performing there.
cute guy. =) so yeahh. snap here and there.
went to the train station. and walked around.
went to the night market and it was fun!
tons of teenagers. really. no cars at all. not even taxis go in.
the pathway is really like two lines going in and two lines going out.
it is that crowded.
24th was fun day.
took a 1 to 2 hour ride to a theme park!
cabby uncle was so nice.
recommend a place for breakfast and agreed to drive us the whole day.
tons of thrilling rides and performances..
played games too.
then in the aftnn we went to a temple.
with a huge big buddha.
and we could go in! ahaha. but didn go all the way up.
it was blocked somewhere in between.
then went back to taichung for dinner.
later on went shopping! bought a bag and belt
then on the 25th we took a bus back to taipei.
sat right at the back with 3 businessmen
haha. slept! cux we had to wake up so early!!
checked in a hotel.
then we took their mrt to Sun Yat Sen Meomorial Hall.
and the weather here was quite cold!!
saw a guard-changing procedure.
there is this huge statue of Sun Yat Sen.
and one guard on each side.
then we walked towards the taipei 101.
went into an exhibition hall again.
jewellery on display. bought some stuff again.
then walked to a building. new york new york.
met mom's colleague for dinner.
couldn go up taipei 101 cux it was quite misty that night.
so we went for the famous xiao long pao restuarant.
super yummy long pao! and the place is huge!
then after that we went to chiang kai shek's memorial hall.
my bro sis n i played and ran like crazy there. ahaha!
26th dec we woke up early again and took a cab to taipei station.
got tickets and took the train to hualian.
3 hours plus ride.
so i slept.
when we got off, we got into a bus with other tourists.
luggages in the empty compartment.
went up mountains. walked around.
took many many photos.
roads were narrow. big enough for a bus to drive thru.
and there was almost an accident.
a bus almost banged into ours.
by the time we reached the hotel it was 6 plus.
so we checked in, rested for awhile, watched tv.
then walked around the place.
had steak for dinner.
yummy yummy.
after that we wanted to walk around more.
but it was drizzling.
and the weather that night was super chilly!
and apparently there was a tremor.
but we didn feel anything!!
next day we went to farglory ocean park.
30mins ride or so..
and there were some celebs there.
watched many performances.
sea-lion's, dolphin's, musical festa and two sync swimmers.
ddr-ed and played on the para para machine.
awesome mann! ahaha. took photo with a walking dolphin.
had ramen for lunch. many rides as well. so we just took them.
28th dec was walking day.
went up mountains to wonder around.
saw the hanging bridge, rocks
many many trails. walked some only. didn have much time.
then had lunch in a restaurant with the other tourists.
dessert on a farm. with cows and ostriches.
ice-cream and cheesecake.
played on the bridges they have there.
went to more places but i cant really remember where.
anyways. took the night train back to taipei.
had a real bad stomach-ache.
checked in at a hotel at around 9 plus.
last 2 days were spent in taipei.
mom's colleague brought us around.
drove up a hill.
walked around and fooled around.
and it was chao cold!!
up a hill you know!! super chilly!
then lunch was also at a chilly place!!
omg! chao cold! then went to the beach.
it's smth like the pinnacles i saw in perth.
and there was a human head look-alike.
now here it was freezing cold. to me that is.
dinner was in a night market. then ate dessert.
adn it drizzled again. then we return back to the hotel.
not long later mom dad n i went out for supper.
walked around adn ate ramen for supper.
yummy and not so full though we ordered lots.
30th. our last day.
finally. went to taipei 101.
went to the 89th storey.
whoaa. could see really really farrrrrr
took a photo there. and bought a really nice sweater.
but can hardly be used here. ahaha!
went down and ate ice-cream
then we walked about, ate lunch.
then went to the airport.
slacked and used the com there.
and the plane was delayed again.
on board the plane watched movies and listened to music.
played sudoku as well.
by the time we reached spore airport it was about near 12.
reached home near 1.
bathed and slept.
whee. 2oo6 has been a bad start for me. starting with the injury, surgery.
maybe it was a blessing in disguise luhh. or smth..
then there was the midyrs. sucked.
then slowly i recovered. grades went up too.
but.. it's a great end.
able to play now. but needa build up stamina.
went for two trips.
went out almost everyday. night outings were fun.
2007! another 1 hour and 5 mins!
so.
it's goodbye 2006. a closure !

welcome 2007! another new beginning!
